As a holiday travel specialist, Thomas Cook is not particularly known for its IT challenges. However, the company has a lot to offer to all those IT professionals out there.

Insilencio developed an interactive campaign for Thomas Cook that challenged IT pros to create their own job. Instead of applying for a pre-defined job, you could design your personal, tailor-made job – a Belgian first.

The campaign evolved around the teasing slogan ‘de geklikte job’, and candidates were lead to an interactive campaign site via several channels. Three IT colleagues from Thomas Cook maintained a blog on this site. An event was organised in the Thomas Cook offices, as the campaign’s finale. Created result of the campaign: Thomas Cook was able to hire 70 new IT colleagues within two months.
